Introduction

Superfounder.io was a UI/UX design agency for tech startups, led by Sebastian Scheerer, a designer and founder whose earlier companies include Wunderlist and ottonova. Startups in the German-speaking market know they need product design; what they do not know is why one small agency deserves the brief over the next. The agency had no outbound and no settled answer to that question. We started with the answer.

The Challenge

A design agency with founder credibility and no repeatable way to use it.

No sales argument → the agency’s strengths lived in the founder’s head and portfolio, not in a message a cold prospect could act on.
A crowded, sceptical market → founders in DACH hear from design agencies constantly, mostly in English and mostly generic.
No outbound → no lists, infrastructure or sequences, and a small team with products to ship.

What We Built

We worked out what the agency should say, then built the outbound that would say it in the prospect’s language.

  1. The sales argument. With the founder we defined who the agency serves best, the stage at which design becomes the bottleneck and why a founder-led design team is the right answer at that moment.

  2. Startup lists in DACH. Tech startups in Germany, Austria and Switzerland at the stage where product design is a priority, with the decision maker identified at each.

  3. German-language campaigns. Sequences written in German for the German-speaking market, built on the sales argument, so the emails read as local and specific rather than translated and generic.

Argument first, then outbound

The Outcome

Fifty-one days after the first email, the agency had a pipeline of startup founders ready to talk.

Result

44

meeting-ready leads in 51 days

  • 44 meeting-ready leads in 51 days → qualified startup conversations in the German-speaking market.

  • A sales argument the agency owns → one clear answer to “why you”, reusable in every channel.

  • A local-language engine → campaigns in German, into DACH, that the agency can keep running.

Why It Worked

  1. Message before machine. Working out the argument first meant the infrastructure carried something worth reading.

  2. Local language, local market. German emails to German-speaking founders stood apart from the English pitches around them.

  3. Founder credibility, made usable. The argument turned the founder’s track record into a reason to reply.

Ready To Own Your Pipeline?

If your credibility is real but your pitch is not written down, this is where we start. We work out the argument, build the list and write the campaigns in your market’s language.

Book an outbound strategy call and we’ll map what an owned outbound channel would look like for you.
