Introduction

AMT (Agentic Marketing Technologies) helped brands run creator and influencer marketing, sourcing and managing creators so brands could scale user-generated content without doing the legwork themselves. It sold to direct-to-consumer brands, the agencies that serve them, and enterprise marketing teams.

The Challenge

AMT’s buyers were everywhere, but only some of them were ready at any given moment.

Three very different buyers → a D2C founder, an agency owner and an enterprise marketing team each needed a different reason to talk.
Timing was everything → the best moment to pitch creator marketing is when a brand is hiring for it or already spending on ads, which a static list can’t show.
A big market to cover → thousands of e-commerce brands across apparel, beauty, food, wellness and more all fit the profile.

What We Built

We built AMT’s outbound around signals that showed a brand was ready for creators, across email and LinkedIn.

  1. A campaign per vertical. E-commerce brands were split into apparel, beauty and skincare, food and drink, health and wellness, pet and general e-commerce, each with its own message.

  2. Hiring signals as the hook. Brands hiring for influencer or creator marketing roles got an opener built from their own job listing, with separate tracks for agencies, D2C brands and enterprise teams.

  3. Their own Meta ads as the opening line. We pulled every US apparel brand running Meta ads and split them by whether their ads already used creators, so the first line showed we’d looked.

  4. Agencies and enterprise on their own tracks. Agencies were tiered and reached in the US and EU, and around 2,000 enterprise brands were reached by email and from the co-founder’s LinkedIn.

  5. Data at scale. We sourced around 200,000 e-commerce brands and kept fresh, qualified contacts flowing into every campaign.

Working with The Growth DNA completely changed how AMT approached outbound. … The quality of thinking behind every campaign was a level above what I’d seen from other agencies. Cold outbound has become our biggest growth engine.

Why It Worked

  1. Signals that meant something. A brand hiring for creator roles or running ads without creators was ready for the conversation.

  2. A message for every buyer. D2C brands, agencies and enterprise teams each heard a pitch about their own situation.

  3. Always testing. New angles, verticals and channels went live every few weeks, so the best ones could scale.

Ready To Own Your Pipeline?

If your buyers are only ready at certain moments, this is the exact gap we close. We find the signals that show a company is ready, from hiring to live ads, and build outbound around them so your calendar fills up.

Book an outbound strategy call and we’ll map what an owned outbound channel would look like for you.
